TB8/Avery

San Francisco, CA

Located four blocks from the San Francisco Bay on Folsom and 1st Street, The Avery’s tapering and stepping glass façade provides an iconic look while maximizing views of the Bay. Designed by OMA, this 618-foot tower is made up of 56 stories and combines condominiums, market rate apartments and affordable housing with various shared amenity spaces. BŌK’s design-build skills were utilized on various cladding and decorative scopes for this project. The pattern on the entry portals includes the combination of silicon and gold at a molecular level. This represents the transition of the Bay Area from the gold rush to Silicon Valley era.

In addition to the entry portal, BŌK developed guardrails, rainscreens and interior sculptural elements.
