Africatown Plaza

Seattle, WA

Enfold Façade is partnering with DBA and GGLO to design a curved rainscreen façade inspired by African architecture. The organic form challenges Enfold Façade to carefully compose a seamless array of rain-screen panels that reflect the building’s unique silhouette. Africatown, a seven-story mixed-use development, will feature 126 affordable homes and offices with a distinctive shape that stands out. Enfold Façade features a product from BŌK Modern which is the Nail-On Sunshade, known for its ease of installation and sleek design that enhances the building’s aesthetic. Available in both Cor-Ten and aluminum, the sunshades feature an abstract circular pattern, combining functionality with artistic appeal. Enfold Façade’s expertise in custom Rainscreens and BŌK Modern’s Nail-On Sunshades will highlight the building’s graceful movement, bringing its design to life.
